Cap U Wins Nationals - Seaside Alumni

For the first time in their history, Capilano Blues Varsity Volleyball team has won a national championship. Taking place in Fredricton at St Thomas University, the Blues defeated Humber College Hawks in the CCAA final. Seaside Volleyball Club was well represented by head Coach Dave Dooley & Assistant Coach Carson Kauenhowen both veteran coaches for our club. Players included Malachi McMullin, Kyle Cook and Markus Bratsberg recent Seaside Volleyball Club alumni.

Dave Dooley summed it up best:

"As the dust settles here the word for us at CapU to focus on is GRATITUDE. On behalf of Malachi, Markus, Kyle, Carson and myself, I just wanted to send you and Seaside volleyball club a huge thank you for all that you did for us. Seaside volleyball club was well represented at the championships, and was obviously a huge part not of our development as coaches and players, but more importantly in creating the love we all feel for one another. Seaside, thanks for everything!"
