SVC Development Programs Expand!

Seaside Volleyball Club is pleased to announce expansion of their young athlete development programs starting Fall 2019. “For the past 16 years, we have been limited to running only one program for girls in grade 6, but no younger, primarily due to a lack of gym space.” Says club president and co-founder Shane Donen. “But with our new practice facility (“the Wave”) soon to open, it will allow us to expand our capacity and finally meet the needs of the ever growing sport of volleyball within the community.”

Seaside’s development programs are an excellent way for athletes new to the sport of volleyball to learn how to play the game, the right way. Athletes will be trained by qualified coaches, devoted to the growth of our sport. Their passion is infectious!

Bring Your Own Parent (BYOP) program

New opportunities include two girls grade 5&6 fall programs, and a boys and girls grade 3&4, Bring Your Own Parent program. These new programs will supplement the club’s grade 6 girls winter development program and the summer camps. “Our hope is to further expand the youth programs for both boys and girls in the very near future. Exciting times for our sport.”
